Bill Roosenberg
President

This best describes Bill’s situation. Thankful for an excellent support staff, a great wife and family, and many faithful, hardworking and productive agents/managers, Bill’s primary function is RECRUITING.

Bill spends the majority of his time in the support, continued growth, and success of our established agencies and marketing groups.

Bob Long
Vice President

Bob Long is the "meat & potatoes" member of the Benchmark Group. Most of his time invested in solving problems, running illustrations, editing all out-going communications, and conducting agent product training. Being "analytical," and being competitive, allows Bob to research and recommend the best approach for making a successful presentation to your prospect. Call him with your client’s unique profile and needs, so that he can assure you that you will "put your best foot forward."

Cheri Roosenberg
Office Manager

In addition to pointing Bill in the right direction each day, Cheri does anything and everything that needs attention.Cheri does the "dirty work" (accounting, equipment, mail, invoices, paperwork, contracts, etc.) that no one else volunteers for!

The secret to Benchmark’s success is Cheri’s organizational skills, and her steady guidance of the overall office management.

Leigh Kugler
VP of EMMC

Leigh Kugler is a graduate of Appalachian State University. She is a licensed insurance agent, as well as the Vice President of Equity Management Mortgage Corporation, an additional financial service offered to our agents and their clients within the Benchmark Insurance Group. In addition to her mortgage brokerage duties, Leigh assists our life insurance associates with illustrations, communications, supplies and pending status reports.

Scott Sheridan
Senior Marketing Coordinator

Scott graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in Geography. His previous experience includes the manufacturing and shipping industries, with thirteen years of service for National Welders Supply Company. Scott has been with Benchmark since early 2002.

Scott is in charge of the direct marketing of Benchmark products and services to experienced agents, and is a liaison to these agents once they are appointed. He also communicates with established Benchmark agents concerning new companies, products and supplies, as well as other office duties and responsibilities.

Mark Warner
Licensing and Contracting

Mark Warner comes to Benchmark following an extensive background in banking and finance. Most recently Mark was part of a mergers and acquisition team at Innesfree M & A based in New York. Mark received a B.S in Marketing from Manhattan College.

In addition to licensing and contracting duties, Mark assists in marketing and will soon specialize in annuities and product support for agents.

Troy Felten
Agent Support and Marketing

Troy Felten graduated from Lee University with a BS in Business Administration. Prior to Benchmark, Troy helped run a Charlotte-based internet retail shop, which eventually was purchased by International Speedway Corporation. He also spent time as a disability case manager with Liberty Mutual. Troy has been with Benchmark since 2005 and has helped in areas of Licensing and Contracting, Commissions, New Business and Product Support. With an office directly facing Bill Roosenberg, Troy gets to serve as a Live Spell Check! In addition to agent support, Troy assists with the marketing and promotion of Benchmark’s competitive carriers and niche products.
Allan Rankin
Gulf Coast Marketing Office

Allan Rankin, along with his wife, Linda, operates a key marketing office in Jackson, Mississippi.

Allan is a veteran of 33 years in sales and recruiting. Linda works in the administration of their business.
